Pioneer RMX1000 Features

The PIONEER RMX1000 allows you to take even more creative control, by creating unique sounds to your audio output. The 3-in-1 system comprises editing software, innovative performance hardware and VST/AU/RTAS plug-ins which has proved very popular among techno DJ’s using effects and samples galore.

The RMX provides many possibilities when it comes to studio FX and beat boxes by simply adding pro DJ equipment. The unit inherits features from Pioneer’s flagship mixers and effectors including the DJM-2000‘s Isolator FX, the DJM-900NXS‘ X-Pad and the EFX-1000‘s multiple FX chaining. The Pioneer RMX-1000 uses remixbox™ editing software to completely customise the hardware and load it up with your own banks of samples. The X-pad with Pitch Control instantly involves the unit’s drum samples by tapping the individual sample buttons (Kick, Snare, Clap and Hi-Hat), or by using the X-Pad to roll (repeat) at different speeds. The RMX 1000 truely brings new life into event performances and studio productions a like.

Pioneer RMX1000 Setup

The Pioneer RMX1000 can be used in many different ways and the setup will differ depending on the artist. Most commonly, the artist may require the Pioneer RMX1000 to be connected directly into the DJ mixer via the Jack to Jack leads (TRS leads) which would control the overall sound of the audio music live, or they may like to have an Pioneer RMX1000 linked via RCA into each Pioneer CDJ to effect the channel’s separately. It is also possible to load samples via a computer device, in which case you would use the USB cable from your computer to the Pioneer RMX1000 and then output to the DJ mixer via the TRS leads. It would be possible to connect a turntable into the Pioneer RMX1000 – but that would be a bit experimental. What ever floats your boat. Please see the below diagram for reference. Seem hand tips may include making sure that you connect the power cord after all the connections between devices have been completed and make sure you use the provided power cable.
