SWS Melbourne has secured its shipment of Ayrton Cobra’s and are now available for hire.

This new product is sure to change the world of entertainment. Ayrton’s COBRA is a phosphor laser source moving light, that creates vivid coloured beams.

AYRTON COBRA pushes all the limits when it comes to beam definition. With a maximum of 38x zoom, COBRA is a versatile luminaire capable of being used in any situation. The Infinity Rotating System allows for more creative flair by enabling the lamp to turn in an infinite circumference and in three directions up, down and side-to-side.

The COBRA features a great set of filters for you to use in color correction. There’s a CMY mixing system, two wheel-equipped concentric circles, and 21 complementary color filters.

COBRA is the only luminaire capable of illuminating an object several kilometers away. It features 92 fixed and rotating metal gobos, with two blended sections of four rotating prisms. The gobos can be sculpted with a light or heavy frost filter, and it has been designed to be waterproof, durable in extreme situations, and versatile enough to both work indoors as outdoors.
